Industry Innovator to Lead GeoComm’s NG9-1-1 Core Solutions Product Management

St. Cloud, MN: GeoComm is pleased to announce the addition of Don Mitchell as the Senior Product Manager for NG9-1-1 Core Solutions.

With over 20 years of public safety industry experience, Don is a proven industry innovator and holds over 30 U.S. and foreign patents. Throughout the years he has provided many invaluable contributions to the 9-1-1 industry including: the roll out of the Wireless Phase II location technologies, 9-1-1 for VoIP, and multiple early ESInet implementations. In addition, he has served on several industry committees including the Federal Communications Commission’s (FCC) Emergency Access Advisory Committee (EAAC).

As GeoComm’s Senior Product Manager for NG9-1-1 Core Solutions, Don will lead GeoComm’s NG9-1-1 Core Solutions strategies utilizing his vast industry and product management experience to deliver NENA standards-based solutions that provide enhanced capabilities for our customers. Serving as an NG9-1-1 industry subject matter expert, Don will represent GeoComm in several industry organizations and relevant NENA workgroups and be a wonderful resource for agencies wanting to learn more about the transition to NG9-1-1.
