Luzerne County Address Project Information Beginning June 1, 2009 through March 26, 2010 there will be field crews driving throughout the entire county to verify the physical address of each habitable structure in Luzerne County. If the address is visible from the vehicle the field crew will collect the information and continue to the next location. If the address is not visible a technician will come to the door to collect your name, address, and phone number. If no one is available a packet will be left at the door. If you receive a packet, please take the few minutes to read it and send in your information. Your help in providing this information is appreciated and will help to make this project a success. This information is being collected for official county use only.
Project Status March 8, 2010 - Field crews will continue verifying addresses in Black Creek Township and Hazel Township. They will also be reverifying some areas in Fairmount Township, Franklin Township, Hunlock Township, Huntington Township, Lake Township, Lehman Township, New Columbus Borough, Ross Township, and Union Township. Initial verification is complete in Slocum Township, Jackson Township, Jeddo Borough, Dallas Borough, Dallas Township, Bear Creek Township, Bear Creek Village Borough, Harvey's Lake Borough, Laurel Run Borough, Franklin Township, Nescopeck Borough, Nescopeck Township, Lehman Township, Ross Township, Lake Township, Hunlock Township, Huntington Township, New Columbus Borough, Fairmount Township, Buck Township, Kingston Township, Penn Lake Park Borough, Dennison Township, Union Township, Fairview Township, Wright Township, Rice Township, White Haven Borough, Dorrance Township, Freeland Borough, Foster Township, Conyngham Township, East Berwick, Borough of Shickshinny, Salem Township, Hollenback Township, Sugarloaf Township, Conygham Borough, Butler Township, West Hazleton Borough, Newport Township, Sugar Notch Borough, Plymouth Township, Warrior Run Borough, Ashley Borough, Hanover Township, City of Nanticoke, Larksville Borough, Courtdale Borough, Hazleton City, Pringle Borough, Plymouth Borough, Edwardsville Borough, Dupont Borough, Avoca Borough, Luzerne Borough, Kingston Borough, Pittston Township, Swoyersville Borough, Borough of Hughestown, Forty Fort Borough, Duryea Borough, Yatesville Borough, Laflin Borough, City of Pittston, Exeter Borough, Jenkins Township, Wyoming Borough, Plains Township, Wilkes-Barre Township, West Pittston Borough, Nuangola Borough, Nuangola Borough, West Wyoming Borough, and City of Wilkes-Barre.
