GeoLynx MOBILE

Mobile Response GIS

GeoLynx Mobile

GeoLynx Mobile extends public safety Geographic Information Systems (GIS) into the field when installed on a mobile data computer in each of your emergency responder vehicles as GIS in vehicle navigation system (IVN). Connected to a GPS receiver, GeoLynx Mobile shows your current location and provides turn-by-turn driving directions to the scene, along with the ability to see live 9-1-1 calls, Computer Aided Dispatch (CAD) calls for service, and other vehicles in the fleet (AVL).

GeoLynx Mobile

GeoLynx Mobile is streamlined for the mobile vehicular environment, with features that include hands free heads up navigation, large touch screen buttons, maps that automatically re-center and scale based on location, heading and destination, and daytime / nighttime viewing modes that also invert colors on the map.

 GeoLynx Mobile

For managing hazardous materials accidents in the field, GeoLynx Mobile includes the US DOT Emergency Response Guidebook (ERG), as well as US EPA ALOHA support built right into the application for quickly identifying materials protocols, mapping isolation areas and chemical cloud footprints.  Type part of a chemical name or placard number to quickly get to the guidebook page for the material.

Isolation protocols and map markups drawn in GeoLynx Mobile are also shared back to GeoLynx 9-1-1 users in the Public Safety Answering Point (PSAP), and to other public safety Web users of GeoLynx EOC, providing a common operating picture for all mobile, PSAP, and Web users across a public safety enterprise.

GeoLynx Mobile

GeoLynx Mobile displays your own custom GIS data and can display online Web map services such as weather and satellite imagery. This feature also has built-in support for Pictometry aerial oblique imagery in the mobile, as well as map hyperlinks to other types of data feeds such as network and traffic cameras.

 GeoLynx Mobile

GeoLynx Mobile provides scalable functionality based on your needs:

Install and use as a compact GIS system in the field. Mapping features include address searches, routing and distance measurements, custom GIS data and aerial imagery viewing, and hazardous materials tools.Add a GPS connection to track your vehicle on the map with turn-by-turn driving directions.

Or enhance your system further with full fleet tracking and mobile data messaging over a mobile data network so users can see themselves and other response units, along with user drawn incident perimeters, 9-1-1 calls, and CAD calls for service  in real time as a situation unfolds.

Perfectly suited for the mobile environment, GeoLynx Mobile brings the power of intelligent GIS to emergency responder vehicles.
