These tools leverages ArcGIS power by combining GeoLynx CrimeAnalyst tools with a wealth of core ArcGIS tools. The example below demonstrates how the spatial Statistics toolbox makes it possible to leverage the full power of ESRI ArcGIS for crime analysis.

Another feature of GeoLynx CrimeAnalyst 2.0 is combining temporal and spatial analysis. In over to avoid the impression that smaller segments near the center of the circle are less significant GeoLynx CrimeAnalyst 2.0 now has a rectangular format option for the data clock.

The seasonal data clock allows you to see patterns of crime or incidents over the course of a set timeframe such as a year. This way you can view variations in crime levels for particular types of crime during a season or specific timeframe.

The new temporal slider allows the temporal and spatial patterns of crime to be analyzed together. The slider scale represents hours, days, weeks, or months. As the slider is moved, crimes occurring in the time period it points to are shown on the map. It allows you to visualize not only the spatial incidence of crimes or incidents by alls the temporal distribution which facilities better resource deployment planning.

GeoLynx CrimeAnalyst 2.0 has a new Point Cluster Renderer which allows visualization of crimes or incidents occurring in the same place.

There are more effective symbols which can configure standard default symbology for the journey to crime tool and the sequence tool. This benefits users by saving analysts time otherwise spent on manually setting symbology each time a tool is used and they improve consistency in that potentially all analysts can share the configured setting and the output will therefore always be presented consistently.

With GeoLynx CrimeAnalyst 2.0 it is now easier to export Excel data and is available to use in ArcMap with just a few simple clicks.

The data clock is also now configurable so it is easier to use in reports. You can configure the location of elements of the clock, change font sizes and layouts making clear, readable clocks available for report documents.
