GeoComm - 9-1-1 System Maintenance

Deployment of 9-1-1 is just the beginning. Public safety agencies must dedicate significant resources to ongoing maintenance of the MSAG/ALI databases that support these crucial systems. New construction, annexations, and ever changing telephone service providers all add to the complexity of maintaining an accurate local emergency telephone system. GeoComm provides expert assistance with the ongoing maintenance and coordination of 9-1-1 systems whether they support wireline, wireless, VoIP, or all three. GeoComm’s consultants assist public safety agencies to monitor the accuracy of their 9-1-1 ALI database and coordinates with data providers to correct errors. GeoComm can assist with the transition to an on-site ALI database which many agencies have implemented to improve accuracy and control costs.
