GeoComm is nationally recognized in the public safety industry as a leader in providing E9-1-1 solutions.  Currently, our projects span nationwide.  GeoComm employs over 90 professionals accredited within their respective fields of communications engineering and GIS and software development.  GeoComm’s public safety understanding stems from real-life experience as call takers, dispatch supervisors, emergency managers, police officers, county employees, and consultants to local governments.

GeoComm is focused on industry standards.  Our staff is recognized for their active participation within industry organizations such as NENA and APCO.  GeoComm’s staff involvement ensures that we not only remain on the cutting edge technologically but also affords us the opportunity of influencing the technological evolutions that have so characterized our industry over its history. We continuously incorporate these advances into our development and consulting practices for the benefit of our current and future clients.  

Today, GeoComm is actively involved with industry developments related to the Next Generation of 9-1-1 services (NG9-1-1) by participating in the development of standards which promise to dictate the technological fabric of emergency communications for years to come. We are an active member of the NENA Next Generation Partner Program and our team is active in the in the NENA GIS data workgroup, the ECRF\LVF workgroup, and the NG9‑1‑1 Industry Collaboration Events (ICE).  The company is also an active member of the 9-1-1 Industry Alliance.
